EL PASO, Texas - Cabela's announced that the grand opening date of its El Paso is on Sept. 14.
Doors will open at 10:00 a.m. and the store will feature a weekend-long celebration.
Its grand opening will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony in what has become Cabela's tradition, with an employee shooting an arrow from a bow alongside Cabela's executives.
There will also be giveaways, a performance by country music artist Lucas Hoge, special appearances by Cabela's pro staffers and ambassadors, and family activities.
The store will offer customers the ultimate outdoor experience with taxidermy mounts, wildlife habitat displays, and a region-specific theme.
It will also include an archery and firearm tech room, an indoor archery range, a digital firearm kiosk and a Bargain Cave.
The store will be located at 6450 N. Desert Blvd. in Building 10, within the new West Towne Marketplace development off Exit 8 on I-10 near Paseo del Norte.
